My Therapy:

I view counseling as a collaborative experience between two individuals invested in making positive change. My therapy consists of warm, genuine and empathic understanding, and is part technique and experiential based, while also stressing a common sense and problem solving approach. Within couples and family therapy, building a solid foundation from which relationships can grow is a crucial task. After determining that the necessary skills and tools are in place, we will work on communication exercises and the idea of being on the same team. My work with couples and families stems from a belief in team work and togetherness. Respectful and open communication is imperative. Consistent and united parenting approaches are encouraged. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I look forward to working with you here at Healing Therapeutic Services, LLC.

Psychological Assessment:

While no one test can fully diagnose or capture the essence of an individual, appropriate and effective measures do provide significant information which is helpful in clarifying the clinical picture. When indicated, a mixture of standardized tests and subjective rating scales are used regularly in an effort to fine tune the diagnostic presentation and aide in treatment planning. For more information on the specific tests I administer, please click on the link below.
